Web the rose is in no way feminine, it's been a common tattoo on manly men (40s navy/sailor jerry) for almost a century. While flowers are generally seen as feminine and girly, they can also be bold and striking, which makes for a great addition as a tattoo. I personally only find some fine line and more.
